Letter From Dr. Freer

December 13, 2013

Dear Patients, Parents and Friends,

As I complete my fortieth year of practicing orthodontics in Vallejo I have decided to gradually transition my practice to two younger orthodontists.

This decision has been influenced by recent health matters within my family.

The transition will begin at the start of 2014. Doctor’s Mark and Eric Axelrode will start taking care of patients with me. We will work together for several months to make sure that everyone’s treatment continues as planned.

My wonderful staff will stay on and continue to provide you with the excellent care and concern we have provided for years.

Let me introduce Doctor’s Mark and Eric Axelrode. Both are lifelong residents of the Bay Area. Mark went to dental school at UOP and then to UCLA for his orthodontic training. He joined his father’s practice in Pinole in 1994. He is married and has three children. He enjoys skiing, golf, travel and all of the Bay Area’s sports teams. Eric went to UOP dental school and also completed his orthodontic training at UOP. He is married and has two children and also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, river kayaking and traveling. Eric joined Mark in 2004 and they have been practicing together in Pinole and Moraga since then.

The decision to slow down and stop practicing has been difficult to make. I have been very fortunate to have chosen a profession that I have thoroughly enjoyed doing I have also been continually surrounded by a great staff. Several have been with me for many years. I cannot thank them enough for making the practice a success.

I look forward to working with Mark and Eric and having you meet them. They are excellent orthodontists and bring with them a great deal of experience new ideas and enthusiasm.

Sincerely,

Kenneth F. Freer, D.D.S., M.S.
